Why Choose Aqualyser?

The Poolex Aqualyser is a next-generation electrolyzer designed to simplify pool maintenance and provide you with consistently clean and balanced water effortlessly. This intelligent system automatically adjusts chlorine production and regulates pH with its integrated Redox and pH sensors.

Available in two versions — the compact (Total) and modular (Flex) — the Aqualyser easily adapts to any type of technical room. Compatible with pools up to 80m³, it ensures adjustable chlorine production (4, 8, 12, 16, or 20 g/h) depending on the size and needs of the pool.

In addition to being an electrolyzer, it also functions as a pH pump and ORP controller for complete, automated water management. Confident in its quality, Poolex offers a 5-year warranty for the housing and 10,000 hours for the titanium cell.

Equipped with simplified management through the Poolex app, this system frees you from daily maintenance and allows you to fully enjoy your pool with peace of mind.

Effortless Pool Maintenance Experience

Equipped with a Redox sensor, the Aqualyser monitors the disinfectant level in your pool in real-time and automatically adjusts chlorine production according to the actual needs of the pool. Its built-in pH sensor continuously monitors pH balance and adjusts the pump to ensure perfectly healthy and balanced water.

With simplified management via the Poolex app, this system frees you from daily maintenance, allowing you to fully enjoy your pool with peace of mind.

Two Versions for Flexible and Adaptable Installation

The Poolex Aqualyser is available in two versions to suit all types of technical rooms and pool configurations: TOTAL and FLEX.

The Total version is compact and optimized for easy installation, ideal for above-ground pools and small spaces where it takes up minimal space while offering maximum efficiency.

The Flex version, on the other hand, is modular and integrates perfectly with traditional technical rooms requiring more customized installation. This flexible format allows you to adapt the equipment according to the specifics of your installation, ensuring optimal compatibility with any type of pool.

We answer your questions

The lifespan of an electrolyser depends on the quality of its components and its maintenance. In general, an electrolyser has an average lifespan of 5 to 7 years.

However, the titanium cell in the Poolex Aqualyzer offers even greater longevity, with a guarantee of 10,000 hours of operation. Automatic polarity reversal options also extend life by reducing limescale deposits.

To ensure efficient chlorine production, we recommend maintaining a salinity of 2.7 to 5 grams of salt per litre of water (i.e. 2.7 to 5 kg/m³). This represents around 135 to 250 kg of salt for a 50 m³ pool. The right concentration enables the chlorinator to work optimally, while ensuring continuous disinfection.

Pool volume Salt required (kg)
10 m³ 27 to 50 kg
20 m³ 54 to 100 kg
50 m³ 135 to 250 kg

Tip : Check the salt concentration regularly and top up if necessary, especially after heavy rain or partial emptying, which dilutes the salt in the pool.

The amount of time an electrolyser needs to run each day depends on the water temperature and how the pool is used. In summer, we recommend that you run the chlorinator for around 8 to 12 hours a day, preferably during sunny hours to prevent algae proliferation.

Conversely, in winter, as soon as the temperature drops below 15°C, it is advisable to reduce or stop the chlorinator considerably, as less chlorine is needed and the appliance could be damaged.
Tip : Adjust the hours of filtration and chlorine production according to variations in water temperature and how often the pool is used, to ensure balanced disinfection.

A swimming pool chlorinator converts the salt dissolved in the water into chlorine using an electrolysis process. Slightly salty water flows through an electrolysis cell made up of titanium electrodes that are polarised by a low-voltage current. This process converts chloride ions into chlorine gas, which dissolves in the water to destroy bacteria and algae, ensuring clean water. With the Aqualyser Poolex chlorinator, this production is automatically adjusted according to the needs of the pool, with Redox and pH sensors continuously monitoring the water parameters. This ensures optimum, effortless management for the user.
